Disclaimer
   
You need to install ink tanks or ink cartridges of all colours whether you perform black and white printing or colour printing. If any one of the ink tanks or ink cartridges is not installed, an error occurs and you cannot perform printing.
Depending on the paper or the print settings, colour ink may be consumed even when you print a document in black or perform printing in black and white. When any one of the colours of ink has run out, you need to replace the ink tank or ink cartridge.
When you use the Canon printer for the first time after you install the bundled ink tanks, the printer consumes a small amount of ink in the amount to enable printing by filling the nozzles of the Print Head with ink. For this reason, the number of sheets that can be printed with the first ink tanks is fewer than the succeeding ink tanks.
The printing costs described in the brochures or websites are based on the consumption data from not the first ink tank / ink cartridge but the succeeding ink tank / ink cartridge.
To keep printer's performance, Canon printer performs cleaning automatically according to its condition. When the printer performs cleaning, a small amount of ink is consumed. In this case, all colours of ink may be consumed.
[Cleaning function]
The cleaning function helps the printer to suck air bubbles or ink itself from the nozzle and thus prevents print quality degradation or nozzle clogging. 
The repairing parts for printers will be available five years after production is discontinued. Depending on your model, we may ask you to replace it with a new one, or one with almost the same performance as a maintenance service. In this case, it may be that you cannot use supplies or accessories for your model or the compatible OS will be changed.

To obtain good printing quality, use up ink within six months after opening.
Regarding a solution to a problem caused by using non-genuine ink cartridges (including ones supplemented with non-genuine ink by making a hole in the cartridge or so), a fee will be charged even within the warranty term. Keep this in your mind when you use non-genuine ink.
If you use non-genuine ink cartridges (including ones supplemented with non-genuine ink by making a hole in the cartridge or so), they may have a negative effect on the performance of the printer or the printing quality may be reduced. In addition, though it is a rare case and does not present a safety hazard, it is reported that a print head will become heated or smoke will be emitted from it due to an ingredient not contained in genuine Canon ink. (Note that this does not apply to all non-genuine ink.)

A printer with a fax function stores the following fax data in printer's memory:
- Faxes not printed out due to conditions such as ink running out.
- Faxes in the send queue.
If you disconnect the power cord, the date and time settings are reset and faxes stored in the printer's memory will be deleted. Before you disconnect the power cord, confirm that faxes you need to keep have already been printed or sent.
Depending on your terminal, such as a computer or a smartphone, or the operating system of your terminal, such as your computer or smartphone, the information or the message related to the estimated remaining capacity of the maintenance cartridge usage displayed on the screen of your terminal may be different from the information or message displayed on the operation panel of the printer. Also, the message for the estimated remaining capacity of the maintenance cartridge usage may be displayed at a different point in time. Canon recommends that you use the information and massage displayed on the operation panel of the printer as your reference.

 

Canon Warranty T & C

1. These terms and conditions apply to the limited warranty from Canon Marketing (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (“Canon”) in respect of Canon product (“Product”) purchased from an authorized dealer of Canon in Malaysia (“Limited Warranty”).
2. The Limited Warranty is valid only in Malaysia to the original purchaser (“Purchaser”) of the Product and is not assignable or transferable.
3. Unless otherwise specified, the Limited Warranty is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase ("Warranty Period") and only valid in Malaysia.
Upon completion of the online registration of Limited Warranty for certain Product, the Warranty Period ranges between 12 to 36 months (subject to each of the Product's entitlement and revision by Canon from time to time without further notice).
4. The Limited Warranty must be registered online at https://ylwc.canon.com.my/ within 14 days from date of purchase.
5. Please retain your purchase receipt for verification purpose.
6. The Limited Warranty covers defects in material and workmanship encountered under normal use and installation of the Product, subject to these terms and conditions. The defective Product or parts thereof covered under the Limited Warranty will be repaired or replaced (with comparable and/or refurbished Product or parts) as determined by Canon in its sole discretion. Any Product or part thereof replaced shall become the property of Canon.
7. During the Warranty Period, Canon will provide labour and repair or replacement of Product in question or parts thereof covered by the Limited Warranty without charge. Any insurance, handling, transportation, delivery and other incidental charges in respect of the servicing of the Product shall be borne by the Purchaser. For field models, on-site service will be provided if the location is within a 40 km radius from any Canon service centre or appointed authorized service centre (Please refer to www.canon.com.my for location details).
8. All decisions made by Canon in respect of the servicing of the Product (including repairs, replacements or issues relating to defects of workmanship or materials) shall be conclusive and the Purchaser agrees to be bound by such decisions. Any defective Product or part thereof replaced shall become the property of Canon.
9. The Limited Warranty does not cover:
(a) Loss or damage to Product due to: 
(i) abuse and/or tampering by any person other than the authorized personnel of Canon; 
(ii) negligence and/or misuse (including foreign object, accident, improper storage, exposure to moisture, excessive temperature, sand, dust, dirt, other pollution or other environmental conditions and failure to follow precautions or proper operating instructions stated in the instruction manual such as improper installations); 
(iii) fire, flood, lightning strike or other acts of God; and 
(iv) deficiencies in consumable parts such as battery leakage.
(b) Defects, damages or accidents due to the malfunction, connection to or use of unauthorized parts (including re-conditioned, tampered, re-used or non-genuine Canon accessories and/or consumable items not recommended by Canon). In such event, Canon reserves the right to cancel the Limited Warranty coverage immediately.
(c) Consumable items, accessories and optional items (including video head, bulb, drum/head lamp, drum unit, print head, laser unit, batteries, battery pack, battery charger, power adapter, cables, connectors, software, tapes, CF/storage card, CD-ROMs, ink/toner cartridges, waste ink absorber and ink sheets) [this exclusion does not apply to Canon Camera Bags].
(d) Software Drivers, Utility Program and Application Software supplied with the Product.
(e) Non-Canon products and software items and any other peripherals used in connection with the Product.
(f) Product with its serial number removed, defaced or altered.
11. No implied warranty, including that of satisfactory or merchantable quality or fitness for a particular purpose, applies to the Product after the Warranty Period. Except as provided in the Warranty Card, no other warranty (expressed or implied) or guarantee given by any other party in respect of the Product shall bind Canon.
12. The Limited Warranty including these terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia.

Once the order is ready for collection, we will send you an SMS message or email notification or Phone call.

* Self Pickup hours will be subjected to change due to public holiday and ALL IT's company events.

Exchange Policy

  • ONE-to-ONE Exchange of Products within 14 Days is applicable for Online transactions.
  • Only certain products with a manufacturer's defect are entitled to a ONE-to-ONE exchange (subject to availability of stock)
